Apartments for rent in Maadi
Wide, tree-lined streets, and quiet within reach of Downtown.
The district
Maadi is one of Cairo's quietest districts, and that is the main reason people look here. The streets are wide and green, and the traffic is a fraction of Downtown's or Nasr City's.
It splits into parts that differ in price and feel: Degla and the Sarayat are quieter and dearer, while New Maadi and Zahraa El Maadi are cheaper and closer to everyday shops. Furnished can cost a third more than unfurnished.
Who lives here
Families, a large international community drawn by the schools and embassies, and people who commute to Downtown or New Cairo. Furnished flats are in demand all year, and a good one lets quickly.
Getting around
Metro Line 1 stops at Maadi, Thakanat El Maadi and Maadi Gardens, about half an hour from Downtown. The Ring Road and the Corniche give quick exits towards Mokattam and New Cairo.
Before you sign
Some older buildings have weak water pressure on the upper floors, and parking in Degla and the Sarayat has become hard. Zaya's team checks both at the inspection, before a flat reaches you.
